Hello ?!?! Is anybody out there?? (only the sounds of Spring peepers in the pond)
I'm not hearing from or about anyone willing to step up and help guide our Friends & Needles Quilt Guild into the 2016-2018 season.
Come-on Ladies !!! It is a job worth doing and nobody does it alone.

QUILT BARN TRAIL story is now on the website, along with the articles from the Bangor Daily News and the Houlton Pioneer Times.
Karen and I would love to encourage all Guild members to participate in our County Comfort Quilts charity sponsored by our guild. At our May meeting, we will be giving away a sewing machine to the lucky lottery winner. How do you enter the lottery? For every quilt you give to our charity, County Comfort Quilts, you will be given an entry to win the sewing machine. Our cupboard gets filled with your beautiful quilts and given to children in the area. We would love to hear any heartwarming stories about children who have received quilts from our charity. I am adding the article which was in the Houlton Pioneer Times last Spring. Last year we received over 90 quilts to fill our cupboard. Let's see if we can beat that record this year!
We are looking for boys and girls quilts that are no less than 40" by 50" to fill our bins. Our bins are full of baby quilts, so we are looking for quilts for older children, age 6 to teenagers. If you have any questions, please give us a ring or email us. Thank you all again for your wonderful support of this charity which has given to so many children over the years. You all ROCK!!
